As per the decision taken by Odisha Stats AIDS Control Society, BSA has entrusted to run migrant intervention program me in Kesinga Railway station. In order to address prevention and control of HIV/AIDS programme among Migrants. The proposed awareness programme was started from since 2010 A meeting was also conducted with the Station Master, PD (TI), PM (TI), & Counselor (TI) in order to make this programme a successful one, so as to reach out large number of migrants.       In order to manage this awareness activity two numbers of Part Time ORW have been deployed at Kesinga Railway station.  OSACS, thus have a great platform in preventing HIV in Odisha by providing more Financial and IEC materials help to create awareness programme among migrants. Who are thickly going outside from Kalahandi District. Sponge Iron and Bricks Bhati or ancillary industries are attracting this people for their livelihood. & the youth also migrant for attracting the township life. During the migration they are having sexual relation with community group. Kesinga is the gate way of Kalahandi Dist in a larger extent mainly railway head Station. Therefore through this programme, HIV prevention can be minimized to a larger extent. Kesinga Railway station in this respect is catering thousand of migrant transaction and it has become an immense help by introducing the transit Intervention in Kesinga station so far. Further to make this programme effective necessary guidelines and MIS format should be provided.
